Day 4
Due to everyone agree, we decide to skip breakfast as people here eat their breakfast very early. So everyone wake up at about 11am. It was raining outside. After I brush my teeth and get ready no one was outside my room, so I went to take some photo of the view around our hostel.

Everyone was ready at about 12.30pm. We went out of school to eat our lunch. I eat fried rice again, but this time I eat egg fried rice instead of chicken rice. After eating, we went to buy nylon string as we want to hang clothes.

After getting the nylon string, we went back to clear up the room.

Finally it is all clear up, but it is late. So we dress up and went out to have dinner. For dinner, I ate noodle while other ate rice.

For the past few days I found out that people here like to eat fried rice and noodle. They do not have food like chicken rice, duck rice or fried noodle. Maybe this is their food cultures. After dinner I went to the fruit store to buy some fruit.

I saw sugar cane.

So I decide to buy it as I have tried to eat it before long time ago in Malaysia. So want to try it again here. It only cost me $2(china). When I took a photo of the aunty peering the sugar cane, she seems to be shy. She says that she not pretty.

I ask the aunty to cut into 2 so I can share it with my friend that never tries before. Then head back to hostel as everyone were tired after a whole day of clearing up. I’m very happy too as Wuhan will be snowing tml! Can’t wait to see it as I never see before.

Day 3
Today I wake up at 8.45am as we need to meet up as a group to have breakfast 9.15am. But when I was ready some of them just wake up, so we have to change of plan. We went to eat ourselves. After breakfast, Dr. Tan brought us to see the classroom where we will be having our lesson starting next week. Below are some of the photos I took when we are on the way to see the class.

From this photo you can see people hanging bottles outside their hostel. In Singapore we will feel it very dangerous as it may fall and hit peoples head. In china this is common seem everywhere.

ME with teacher

Classroom! In Singapore, we use whiteboard but for china they are still using blackboard. This make me remember about my primary school life where teacher use blackboard to teach us.

View outside the classroom. There is a lake beside the school. After the tour, we went back to our hostel and rest. At about 3 pm, we decide to go Bu Xing Jie. We took 901 there. First we went to shoping malls that sell IT item.

It was something like our Sim Lim Square. inside the mall, people there are mostly selling mobile phone. Next we walk on the longest pedestrian street in the world.
Then we went to shopping central nearby to do window shopping. Saw a lot of nice shirts and pants.

Then we saw this brand call “Cefiro”. It looks like “Polo Club” but it is fake as it holding a sword. Maybe this brand is famous in china.

I happen to saw this. This cannot be seen in Singapore as it is very danger. The pole may fail and hit people. This is really eyes to the feast. We shop till we were hungry, so we went to find food. After round of searching for food, we finally decide to eat mix vegetable rice. I order fish, meat and pig blood!! Pig blood cannot be found in Singapore as it is not hygiene. Pig blood is really very to eat. I never eat at for many years. I really like it. It is like tofu but harder.

After dinner we went home.
Night view.

We took bus 903 back, but we took the wrong side and it brought us to the train station!

We have no choice but to take a van back. What good about this van is that we can negotiate the price? So everyone pay $15(china). But took us about 45min to reach school. After reaching school I went to wash up and sleep due to too tired.

Day 2

I was awake by my alarm clock early in the morning. I felt recharged and energized but at the same time very cold! It was raining outside. I brush up and get change and gather before 9am for breakfast. We waited for very long but nothing seems to be going on. So while waiting we took a group photo.

Finally someone spoke up, and then I found out that we were waiting for Dr. Tan who was not there yet. So everyone decide to go back to our room and wait for him. About 10 minutes later, someone came knocking at my room saying Dr. Tan had reached. Everyone gather at level 1 again. We head to the canteen for our breakfast. After we reach there, we had to buy a card. Something likes EHz-link we use in Singapore. After getting that card, I went to buy my breakfast.

After breakfast, I went back to the hostel with my roommate. At about 11am, someone came knocking my door and ask if we want go shopping to buy some daily use.
Everything inside there was very cheap as it is made from china, so we can buy many things at a low rate. Their shopping center was a lot bigger then Singapore’s one. This shopping center sold a huge range if item. From luggage to shirt, from shoe to sport equipment, from fresh vegetable to live fish.

Everything was so cheap and I made me feel like buying everything. But I need to control my money as I never bring a lot over to china. If I run out of money, I had no other way to get money. After that we went to have our lunch. I had noodle.

After lunch, we went to buy a SIM card so that people can find us when we are out. In Singapore, when we sign up one new SIM card, we get free shirt. But here we get free tissue paper. This is the SIM card that I brought.

When it was time for dinner, Cheng yang, Jourdan, Xu an and me decide to go out to explore. After 10 min of walking from the school, we saw a lot of people selling food. So we random pick a store and went in. I order chicken fried rice. It only cost $5(china).

It was nice although it taste different from those I ate in Singapore. I was very full as the severing was very big. When we were eating, we saw the owner’s son went out and pee on the road side. In Singapore, we would be already been fine. After eating, we decide to walk around and look for other nice food. So I happen to pass a smelly place. So I went forward to check where the smelly smell came from do. I was shock. I saw smelly tofu.

So I went to buy to try it as we cannot find this at Singapore. It only cost me $2(china). After buying the food, we head back to hostel to rest as everyone was tired and that for the day.
